However, do not overdo it: in total, you can eat up to 2 kg of watermelon a day, but no more.

The watermelon diet consists of 90% water. Although watermelon is a sugar product, its calorie content is estimated to be low - no more than 40 kcal per 100 g of watermelon pulp. Thanks to this property, watermelon is perfectly saturated, relieving the feeling of hunger and at the same time is absorbed almost immediately.

In addition to water, watermelons contain a large amount of fiber, which helps to restore the efficient functioning of the digestive system and remove excess fluid from the tissues.

Thus, the watermelon diet is an excellent treatment for edema. Along with water, harmful substances and toxins are flushed out of the tissues and cells of the skin, which means that the skin is cleansed, renewed and acquires a healthier appearance.
